Hello from Kathryn & Dominique
Kathryn and Dominique crossed paths in July 2022 at a film networking event held in London. Dominique, was visiting the UK from South Africa at the time, while Kathryn was busy presenting her short film concept 'Zofia'. Instantly, a connection sparked between them as they delved into discussions, discovering their mutual passion for the arts and a shared determination to produce compelling content.
Their collaboration first began with exchanging ideas and working together remotely until Dominique made the decision to permanently relocate to the UK in 2023. Since then, both Kathryn and Dominique have embarked on personal creative endeavors, carving their paths within the industry. Kathryn found her footing as she transitioned from being an actress to a screenwriter/ director, while Dominique evolved from being an actress to embracing roles a director and writer, alongside taking on producer and coordinator duties.
Their relentless dedication to their individual and joint ventures began to yield results, signaling the opportune moment to establish a production company. Thus, KD FILM PRODUCTIONS LTD was born, allowing them to turn their creative ideas and many others, into reality.
